# Supplier orders

Supplier orders represent inventory replenishment shipments from suppliers to Melonn warehouses.

## Supplier order states

The following table describes all possible supplier order states:

| 1 | Created | Order has been created but not yet confirmed. | No |
| 2 | Confirmed | Order is confirmed and awaiting shipment/reception. | No |
| 3 | Canceled | Order has been cancelled. | Yes |
| 4 | Reception In Process | Packages are being received. | No |
| 5 | Finalized | All packages have been processed and inventory has been added to stock. | Yes |
| 6 | Unpacking in progress | The process of unpacking the received packages has begun. | No |
| 7 | Unpacked with differences | All packages were processed, but fewer items were unpacked than theoretically shipped. | No |

**Notes:**

-   Orders can only be cancelled when in `Created` (1) or `Confirmed` (2) states.
    
-   Once packages start arriving at the warehouse, the order moves to `Reception In Process` (4).
    
-   During unpacking, the order is in `Unpacking in progress` (6).
    
-   When all packages are unpacked but the total number of items expected in the order is not complete, the order status changes to `Unpacked with differences` (7).
    
-   If an order is in the state `Unpacked with differences` (7) and a new shipment of that order is received, its state changes to `Unpacking in progress` (6).
    
-   When all products have been processed, the order becomes `Finalized` (5).

## Reception services

The following reception services can be requested for line items:

| `lab` | Labeling | Apply missing product barcodes/labels. |
| `ltc` | Lot control | Record the lot numbers of the units. |
| `fec` | Expiration date control | Record the expiration dates of the units. |
| `bag` | Packaging bag | Store textile products in plastic bags for protection. |

A service must be available in the destination warehouse for your account.
